Implant or IUD?

Hey girlies! I’m currently on the pill as a form of birth control but recently I’ve been wanting to change it to either the implant or the IUD. I just want to hear some of yalls experiences with any side effects and your preference to either one.

Not my own experiences but my friend got the implant and she loves it and didn’t have bad side effects she spotted for awhile and was moody when she first got it but loves it, my sister got it after she gave birth and she bled for months was depressed and gained a lot of weight so she had it taken out and only uses condoms. if i had to choose id do the implant because there is literally no way to mess it up like it can’t slip out of you and all you do is feel your arm for it. I’m on the pill and have been thinking about getting the implant

I love the implant!! One of the best decisions I’ve made. Its my third year on it and no period! A little nerve racking to get inserted and taken out but definitely worth it!
