i just got diagnosed with HSV-2, genital herpes. I haven’t had any symptoms until yesterday, went to the Gyno today. I am in utter disbelief. I have been dating the same guy for about a year now and I am his only sexual partner. I’ve only had unprotected sex with three people (him being one) but the other two were boyfriends years ago.

He’s going to get tested but I just cannot stop crying. I am so scared that this is going to change things between us, and i even feel more guilty that I am his only partner and potentially could have given this to him without knowing.

It feels like the world is ending and I just need some positive encouragement/vibes
