When did your twins arrive?

Please also comment if there were any complications, NICU time, anything. I’m 23 weeks now & starting to freak out since I have really no idea when these boys will get here! My first pregnancy I went to 41 weeks. Does that mean anything?

I had my di/di girls at 38 weeks exactly (induced). It was my second pregnancy, had my first after 41 weeks. Didn’t have any issues or complications my entire twin pregnancy. Had a unmedicated vaginal birth and no NICU time.

36+6 with an emergency csection. Baby Bs cord was wrapped around her neck twice and she pooped inside me. No nicu time.

33 weeks 4 days. I had hellp syndrome and then went into labour. Had to get a platelet transfusion and then went under general anasthesia and had a c section. 
They were born at 3lbs 13oz and 4 lbs. Baby A had some breathing issues when he was born but they got him back pretty quickly. 
They stayed in the NICU for 23 days.

I made it to 37 weeks and 6 days when my water broke.  Baby B had 4 days in the NICU because he swallowed fluid coming out.

I was nervous too! But my boys came at exactly 38 weeks. They were both almost 7 pounds, happy and healthy. We actually went home early after like 36 hours! Don’t stress yourself out, it will be ok! I went to 41 weeks with my first born as well

I made it to 37 weeks on the dot when my water broke and I had to have a C-section. I went to 42 weeks with my Singleton before this. My 7 pound twin spent five days in the NICU and my 6 pound twin was all good to go. Having a baby in the NICU was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, To be quite honest, emotionally. But everyone is fine now and they are almost 3 weeks old. Good luck to you! I started freaking out at the 23 mark because that was when this virus thing hit. But I made it to 37 and I’m sure you will too!￼￼￼

I had my boy/girl twins at 36+5 days. I was induced. I went to 40 weeks with my 1st. I had them naturally and vaginally.  Unfortunately I had a really bad labor and delivery (no NICU time). But they are almost 3 months old now and doing amazing.

I had my mono di twins at 35 weeks - c section because of a growth restriction issue baby was 3 pounds at birth. Both babies were in NICU - A for one month and B for  2 months. I was able to stay for free in a non profit house by the hospital because the hospital with a NICU was far from my home. My baby had a life saving surgery at 1 day old. In any case everything worked out just perfect - the birth ( I didn’t not expect the c section ) and few days following were the roughest. But I really loved the NICU because the nurses were highly skilled and loving and took great care of my babies I learned SO much from them and the other NICU families. now I have perfect healthy happy babies and my life is wonderful. Don’t be scared of the NICU. Just spend time with your baby there if for some reason you end up there and remember self care. - and no the gestation of your first single baby had nothing to do w your twins.
