Mammys of 'big' babies please help
So I had a growth scan 2 weeks before the birth of my baby which was showing my baby was measuring 9lb 7oz and the birth weight prediction was 10lb+ following this I had an elective cesarean and his birth weight was 9lb 15& a half oz & 24inches long. So size wise I never looked like I had a "newborn". He was born 18 days before the UK was locked down in the pandemic, my husband was back at work and I hadnt fully healed but had no choice but to manage and get on with it. Anyway, I had a lot of pain in my stomach and after finally managing to be able to be examined by a Dr I found out my muscles were still separated and that was causing the pain - it also transpired that the weakness in my muscles was putting pressure on my knees and causing me pain there. I did the physio exercises given by the Dr and now my stomach muscles are much more pain free. But the pain in my knees is unbearable and I'm also experiencing pain in my elbows which is horrible. I also have horrific pain in my spine where I had the epidural needle at my c section. My baby is now 19 weeks old and weighing 21lbs. Could all of this pain be from lifting him? I've googled it and there's a thing called postpartum arthritis, has anyone had this? Could it be this? Has anyone been through the sme pains with a bigger baby?
