Potty training help please

So I did the first day of no diaper today. She went pee in the potty once and then literally started throwing a fit because she wanted to be in a diaper and so I caved and I should not have but what did yall do?? Did anyone else kid beg for a diaper back on? She will be three in two and a half months I want her out of diapers sooooon. She does have panties to use but we tried them (first attempt at potty training) and she always would pee in them

She wouldn't pee without the diaper or underwear until she got to the potty but if they are on she will pee and poop right in them
