My boyfriends first message on the dating app was “I work with a bunch of cops so if that bothers you we don’t have to keep talking” (he’s a dispatcher) my message was “I have no problem with that, I love cops and I have a lot of family members in the profession” 
We have been together for over a year now and are getting married next year

He was in training for another job so he started working part time at a pizza place I worked at. Our boss lost his shit that day and made us all stay hours after closing to deep clean. 
It was literally my future husband's first day. And he asked me, "Hey, is he always such a dick?"
And I said, "Hey man, this is actually one of his good days."
Then we got yelled at for "fucking around" instead of cleaning.
Over 9 years later, we are married with a 3 year old boy, a 21 month old boy, and a 2 week old boy.
