We have a joint email account and I noticed he’s been referring to me as his fiancé to apartments that were applying to. Is this some kind of hint he’s going to propose ?

Not necessarily. Maybe he is trying to make it more apparent that the two of you are in a committed relationship so it’s clear To the landlord that you won’t be breaking the lease or anything like that.￼

He could be thinking about it or it could be to look better on apps. We have a lot of our renters do stuff like that because they think we think they will be less of a problem or that they won’t try getting out early on their lease from a breakup.

Before me and my husband got engaged or married , we got engaged and married within 3 months and married at 9 1/2 years. He was putting me as wife on work forms.

Personally my SO and I sometimes call eachother our fiancé/fiancée or even husband/wife to strangers or not close family and friends only because we don’t want to explain how invested we are with eachother and for how long and still are only simply technically labeled as “boyfriend/girlfriend” 😅 because there has been many. We have a child on the way, cars together, a beautiful home etc. one day marriage will come but we just throw them out there still
