a female friend of his had some trouble with her parents and had to stay elsewhere so she asked my boyfriend if she could stay at his place for the night. he said yes without consulting me, knowing that they would be alone. although he told me about it, it still hurt me knowing that he did not think about how it would make me feel.

he tells me that whatever I say, he would still let her stay over because it is ultimately his decision. I understood that his friend needed help but it seemed as if her needs preceded my emotional needs.

am I just being too jealous and he was in the right? should I just let it go?
