Merformin??

Hey, I've been on metformin 500mg for 2 weeks and only today upped the dosage to 1000mg.

I took my tablet immediately after my meal, and it's been 1 hour and I'm STARVING almost to the point of sickness.

Is this a metformin side effect or is this a good sign.... I'm 5dpo and metformin has helped my body regulate, as I didn't have the usual ovulation pain I usually get (PCOS - my cysts grow too large and pop so I don't ovulate properly) and things seemed on track for the first time in 2 years.
