How long does it take for red raspberry leaf tea to start working. I’m 38 weeks 1 day and went to the doctor today and he said I wasn’t dilated still. I just wanna cry

The tea doesn’t do anything for your cervix, it works to tone your uterus. So there’s nothing for them to check if it’s working. If you want to help your cervix along, some studies recommend eating 6 dates a day after 36 weeks

It doesn't induce labor. It just makes your uterus more toned and makes for a shorter labor because when your uterus is toned it makes contractions more productive.
Try sex and nipple stimulation have the most scientific proof they work. They both cause the body to release oxytocin, which is the hormone that causes contractions. If you have sex with a male partner, semen is an added bonus because it causes the cervix to thin and dilate due to the release of prostaglandins. Masturbation also works the same way if you don't have a sex partner.
Make sure you're walking a lot, and bounce on a birth ball if you have one. Eating dates have also been shown to help get things going. I also vaginally insert evening primrose oil into my vagina, which helps to thin the cervix. Don't take it orally, though, since that's been found to cause longer labors.

RASPBERRY LEAF 🍃 TEA
I'll post what I have saved to my clipboard 📋 when I comment on raspberry leaf 🍃 tea post😊. But...I caved at 32wks and have done a glass a day since and I'm currently 37+4 and  have started 3 glasses a day since week 35...this was last pregnancy 
*I started last pregnancy week 34 religiously along with bouncing on my exercise ball 3 times a day at least an hour. Raspberry leaf 🍃 tea is supposed to be started in the 3rd trimester cause its to risky in the 2nd. Regular raspberry (not leaf) tea is safe for the 2nd.
34wks...1 cup every other day
35wks...1 cup daily 
36wks... 2 cups daily 
37wks... 3 cups daily and was 5cm dilated at 37+5 had a strip done and lost my bloody show that Saturday and was born 3hrs later into Sunday morning (12:35am)
I had NEVER been that dilated ever before with any of them or a short labor or even had bloody show until I drank that tea and used my ball.

I was checked at like 28wks with contractions I was completely closed (history of preterm labor) started the tea at 32wks checked again at 33wks and was 1cm dilated...35+5 was 3cm..I have Another appointment tomorrow so we shall see 37+5

I’ve been drinking 2 cups a day for two weeks and it hasn’t helped a bit. I’m 40 weeks tomorrow only 1cm and 50%

My understanding is it doesn't do anything to induce you, but rather makes your contractions more effective and may shorten labor.

I’ve been taking it since 33 weeks and nothing. I know it’s not suppose to induce labor but I hope it helps labor go quicker when the time comes.

It has never been proven to work to put women into labor. It is recommended and supposed to support uterine health. Good luck! I’m 38+1.

I’m 38 weeks and only 1 cm at my appointment yesterday. I’m just trying to stretch and walk this baby to get things moving naturally.
