So my bf planned a trip/mini vacation for next month. He surprised me with it, bought plane tickets and all. The weekend he got them for, I'm supposed to be on my period. My periods have been heavy ever since I got on Paragard so they suck. Not only that but I'm a Preschool teacher and I have mandatory training those days that we'll be leaving since we start school the following week (assuming schools will be open). I asked him if we could switch the date to the weekend before. At first he said yes. His parents are moving to a different state soon and he's going to help them move which I dont have a problem with at all. The moving date was the end of July but now he's saying they're not sure and if it's the weekend I want to move the trip to, then the trip will stay the date he originally planned. So now idk what to do. With covid, I know training is crucial since we'll have new guidelines. We had a fallout not too long ago and he's really trying to make it up to me and show me that he wants to be with me so I don't want to cancel the trip and I'm super excited since it'll be our first mini vacation. But idk how else to tell him. Am I being selfish?

Note: we're taking all the precautions to travel by plane. We were able to get N95 masks and protective glasses (what they use at hospitals). If things are still very bad, we'll end up postponing it for a later date.
