Open relationship?

Hey ladies!
Curious if anyone has tried an open relationship with their SO and what your experience was?
I’m not looking for shade or judgmental comments. I’m genuinely curious if anyone has tried this out either short term or long term, and how it played out in your relationship with your SO.

I havent done it but I can for sure see the benefit for some people. I personally would be open to it if a partner was wanting it (in a healthy way not just a way to fuck a bunch of people) but I wouldnt demand it.

My husband was in one with his exwife. We were supposed to just be fwbs.

Yeah I did. I had an abusive relationship with the girl I was dating and we stopped being open because we decided to focus on our family and figuring out our next steps instead. We married young(20&21) and rah I’m glad we did it. It gave us a chance to realize that we 100% knew the grass was not greener and gave us more perspective on our marital issues. It’s not for everyone though
