Wheeeeew... what A ride this pregnancy was!

so BOOM it all started when I got home from chemotherapy! (Unfortunately I have cancer and had to endure pregnancy with it)

June 25th I got home from chemo, (every time I take chemo I contract) WELP! this time the fat lady SUNG! and my water had released that night at 35 weeks!

So I called my midwife she told me to wait a few hours before heading to the hospital to give my self time to dilate (as I was attempting a VBA2C 😳)

June 26th at 2am I made it to the hospital (told a little lie that my water had only been broken for an hour to give my self more time on the clock so to speak)

Here I am in L&D Pitocin in my veins and that MONSTER OF A BALLOON in my cervix every one is different but for me LORD it hurt like HELL.. And I hollered the whole 8 hours with no pain meds they wouldn’t give to me yet..

So at 10am I was checked and was 6cms along 🥰 I WAS SOO HAPPY.. like my body was really doing it.. doc says would u like some-YESSS YESS I WOULD GIVE ME THE DRUGS...... And then I was in heaven with the epidural..

And then things slowed down... it was 11 at night the epidural seemed to not be working because my butt felt like it was cramping up so bad contractions were coming every minute I was 8cms they had the Pitocin up SO HIGH. Baby went into distress heart rate dropping after every contraction. they tried turning down the pitocin but it wasn’t gonna work fast enough, and feared infection was setting in my water had been broke for sooo long at this point.. I ran a fever,

It’s time to get the BIG C again 🥺 what a bummer I was sooo close.. blood levels were super low because of chemo, I lost a lot of blood during surgery had to get 4bags of blood but baby needed to be born safe and healthy 🥰 born June 27th 8pounds at 1 am ADA-RAYNE harkness entered the world ready for a bottle lol. She spent 4days in nicu low blood sugar and jaundice.. other than that she’s a doll and soo cute!!
