I am thinking about getting on birth control and have been for a LONG time.

I am freaked out by getting anything put inside me. Like massively freaked out. I get massive cramps on my period to the point of buying max strength pamprin and numbing myself for the entire duration of my period. I get bad migraines as well as back pain. I also experience nausea on my period. It would be nice to lessen these symptoms.

I have been dabbling between getting on the pill or patch. What is everyone's experience with these? What side effects have you come by?
