Should I get a private first ultrasound?

I’m 7 weeks pregnant and I think it may be another two weeks until I can get my first ultrasound through my doctors office by myself. Should I go to a private ultrasound business so my husband can go with me to hear the baby’s heart beat for the first time? Has anyone else done this? Are there any negatives to this?

I’m doing a private one in our home because my hubby isn’t allowed to join me for appts and I really need him to bond with the baby! 
I did it with my last baby and it was amazing!

I’ve had private scans before. They are totally worth it! I think the only “negative” thing is that if they see something wrong they can’t tell you. All they can do is advise you to see a Dr. But I don’t really think that’s too much of a negative thing. If you don’t wanna wait the two weeks and you want your husband to be there then I say go for it! :)

I wouldn’t get a private one this early on. Some places are letting people do FaceTime and take videos.
