Inconsistent contractions??

Question

For anyone who had their little bean or have had kids, how long were your contractions irregular before they got closer and more consistent? I’ll have 5 close together and then nothing for 15 minutes!  It’s been like 10 hours of on and off contractions and intense back pain 🥺

I’ve had random contractions here and there since 34 weeks. I’m 39 weeks now. With my last baby once my “real” contractions started it took about 30 min for them to start being consistent and about 5 minutes apart.

I had them for a month on and off, but only got it confirmed in the last week of pregnancy. I was induced at that point but only by having my waters broken. My waters breaking were enough for them to become regular true labour contractions and 6 hours later I gave birth.

I had irregular contractions for about 20 hours, they then turned into regular and then close enough together to go into L&D.

The day I went into labor I had them inconsistent all day and my water broke at 9:30ish and a little after is when I started getting them 5 minutes apart and they didn’t hurt until I was in the hospital for like an hour but the ones I felt during the day I could tell they weren’t Braxton Hicks because they felt different even though they weren’t painful

I had false labor with my second for a few days and ended up making my induction date 9 days passed my due date

I had this for 3 weeks with my middle son. It drove me nuts! I started having them again now and I’m really hoping I don’t go overdue like my last 2!
