Anyone gotten bitten while nursing? How’d you address it?

My kiddo bit me yesterday and I yelled because I was so shocked and in pain because he has 2 teeth already. He immediately started crying and I felt terrible. I soothed him and tried nursing other side about 10 minutes later and he bit me again! I’m hoping these were isolated incidences.

Thankfully we got over this habit before she had teeth! They actually can learn nursing etiquette! I would take her off and say ‘no that hurts’ or something and if she did it again I would do it again but end the nursing session there. After a few times they start to understand

I plan on starting to transition to only bottle feeding when my baby starts getting teeth. She gets pretty agressive now without teeth so I'm not looking forward to in between the transition lol. Although I didnt get teeth until I was a year old so I'm hoping shes the same way 😅

Mine tried it a few times.  I just took hime off the breast for about 5 minutes each time and said no bite and he got the message.  But ouch!

My LO bit me 3 times the other day so i took him off and put him in his bouncer and told his daddy he was his problem for awhile lol hasnt done it again yet

My baby doesn't have teeth yet and I've said "ow" really loudly and he smiled. Looking forward to the teeth. 😬

My first daughter bit me once. I screamed OW loudly and then said “no bite”, and ceased nursing. She never did it again. This baby is just cutting her first tooth... I’m hoping similar works on her 😩
