Is this still a thing? Calling children born out of wedlock bastards?

This was fb messaged to my boyfriend (among many other hateful things). Calling him out for being a bastard kid and now having his own bastard kids. We are not married, and we do have a daughter and another baby on the way. I'm not ok with that word. The choice of marriage does not change a thing about my kids. They are both of our kids and loved by both of us just the same.

This person that sent this to us is clearly a very hateful person trying to create more drama than they already have. She is a nobody to us, and we have had no interaction with her for a really long time. She is basically speaking for her wife(my SOs sister, who we also don't talk to).

Dont even get me started on the fact that she is a lesbian calling him a faggot(which he clearly is not).
