So my aunt was making a food box to ship to my uncle out of the country. My mother decided to take food to my aunts house as well for the box. My aunt has a son in law that lives across the parking lot from her. He takes her everywhere in his car, they even travel to NJ (we all live in the Bronx), to visit the supermarket 😐

My mother wanted me to ask my fiancé if he could take me to my aunts house to drop off the food. I asked her why couldn’t my aunts son in law come pick it up? And she said he shouldn’t have too. They have traveled much further for A LOT less, including a two day drive to pick up a friend 🙄. I told my mother that I would ask my fiancé but I also told her he would be busy until about 9pm. So 8pm comes, and she’s ALREADY angry. Giving me the silent treatment. Saying things under her breath about me. Ignoring me when I speak to her. At 9pm when my fiancé returned to his car, it was pouring outside and he had forgotten to roll the windows back up and so the car was full of water. He then offered to pay for my cabs there and back. She declined as if he had offered it to her. I was ready to go but she said she wouldn’t accept that. She said it was fine if he couldn’t take me there (which obviously was a lie).

That was yesterday. Today she is STILL mad. Still ignoring me. Still giving me the silent treatment. When I tried talking to her, she actually closed a door in my face. She decided she was going to take the food herself (FOUR bags worth of food) on public transportation. Before she left, she mentioned how I was a bad daughter and a bad person. She said I get worse every single day. She thinks my life needs to revolve around her and it’s fucking annoying. Every time she doesn’t get her way, she’ll just belittle me and try to make me feel bad about myself.
