Okay, I’d appreciate some ideas here.

I’m currently on day 5 of a miscarriage from a chemical pregnancy- I believe anyways.

I ovulated on the 30th of June, had unprotected sex 4 days prior on the 26th.

I was sure I would be pregnant from that and I’m pretty certain that I’m miscarrying based off the symptoms.

My “period” came 6 days early (10 DPO) (I am extremely regular and have never been early before for a single cycle). Initially thought implantation but after about 12 hours of light bright red blood it got extremely heavy and turned dark red. So far it’s been a Combo of brown, dark red, and bright red blood coloring. Way heavier than usual, and has had clots and tissue as well- which is also not normal for me. It’s started to taper off now towards the end and turning black.

I had pretty bad cramping the first 4 days when I usually only cramp for about 24 hours, and my breasts and nipples have been feeling like they’re burning and stinging this whole time.

I’ve had an awful low backache, been extremely thirsty, and exhausted to a drowsy point- so much so that my husband took our toddler and went to his sisters for the day so I could rest unbothered.

I took a clear blue early response PT the day after the bleeding started (would have been 11DPO) and got a negative result. I’m considering taking another one just to make sure I’m not actually pregnant and the bleeding is related to something else. I had implantation bleeding with our son and it was light pink spotting off and on for 2 days, so nothing like this.

My questions are:

1) how long should I wait to take a test if I am truly miscarrying an early pregnancy, for the hormones to die down so I don’t receive a “positive” when I’m not truly pregnant anymore?

2) does this sound like a miscarriage? Or just an abnormally heavy period? What do y’all think?

I have had a previous early miscarriage before but it a few years ago and I don’t remember the details very well.
