I have step children. 4 of them. It’s so hard, harder than caring for your own blood.

No. That’s shit is HARD. 
First of all, you can’t discipline because then your partner would assume you’re “getting personal.”
Second, the child might always see you as a threat, and you need to constantly prove them wrong 
Third, baby mama drama🤮
I’m not going through any of this, just an observation of what I see other people going through.

No cause you not only deal with the kids, but you deal with the mother too. So for me it’s a no.

i’m a step mom to a 5 year old who loves me more than his own mom .. well because she’s a “when it’s convenient for her” parent. it is very hard with the drama but I wouldn’t trade it for anything

I am stepmom two wonderful girls! I have been with dad for 5 1/2 years now and trust me it isnt easy but i love them girls like they are my own always have. Their bio-mom isnt part of the life she hasnt seen them in over a year now. If you have any questions i will try to help in anyway i can.

When I was single, looking for a man...no. I didn’t ever consider dating a guy if he had kids. Wanted no baggage. Then I started dating someone I had known for a while after he got divorced. 
Best thing to ever happen to me! His son was 13 when we got together. Now he’s 16, lives with us full time and I love being his stepmom.
