What is the latest you would tell someone you’re expecting?

My sister in law likes to do what my husband and I do. My mother in law has asked that we wait as long as possible to tell her we are having our second baby because she doesn’t think she will he able to resist having another one lol she got pregnant after we announced our first because she thought it would be fun to do it together and things have been hard for my in laws because she has to rely on them so heavily.

I mean, i am 35 weeks and have not posted about being pregnant on social media. My family knows since 14 weeks others find out if they happen to see me out of my house (which is never really lol).  My coworkers know, but i teach so i havent really seen them since march and i sent a letter out via parent square to let students know to expect a sub when we return but i will be back.

Personally, 9 months... but I'm a private person. I'm 19.5 weeks now, and, except close family and friends, no one knows.
In this case, I'd tell whenever you feel comfortable telling. It's not your problem or fault, much less your MIL's, if your SIL feels compelled to shit out kids she can't support on her own just because you and your husband are expecting.

The longest I’d wait is 20 weeks. It’s my pregnancy so I would like to be excited and post and share about it. I wouldn’t want to hide it just because of someone else.

Only a few people know, and I’m almost done with my pregnancy. It just wasn’t important to me that others know, and I wanted to be able to just focus on the 3 of us.
