My little girl (5 weeks today) has been throwing up a lot over the last 2-3 weeks and we had just got referred to a gastroenterologist at her 1 month appointment last week. Well last night she started throwing up a reddish brown color and it worried me so I brought her to the er this morning and they found that she had pyloric stenosis. We are being transferred to a local children’s hospital and she’s having surgery in the morning

Update: surgery went well this morning and we have been doing very good this afternoon. She was given pedialyte after she woke up once she was able to hold that down they allowed me to give her a small amount of formula. She’s getting Tylenol and lots of snuggles for pain. If everything goes well tonight with monitoring her we will get to go home tomorrow
