I’m only 17, and my boyfriend and I just had sex for the first time. We took precautions but I’m 4 days late for my period and am taking a test tomorrow. I’m having constant panic attacks and know that can affect my cycle, but wtf do I do if I’m pregnant. My family is very religious and I’m already dealing with family sexuality conflict. I don’t know how I’d even tell my parents. Please Help?!

First step is take a test. If it comes back positive, don’t wait to tell them. If they’re truly a good family then they will be upset at first but ultimately support you and whatever you choose to do.

When you say you just had sex, do you mean like right now? Hours ago? If so, you can not get pregnant that fast. Use condoms or birth control if you don't want to be pregnant.

Calm down.  Doesn't pay to speculate until after you test or you may be worrying for nothing.  But you should definitely either abstain from sex or get on birth control so this doesn't happen again.
