What are y’all’s doctors saying and doing for when it’s time to deliver with covid19 going on?

I’m not due until Dec, but wanting to know what yalls doctor is doing when it comes to deliver time at the hospital with covid19,what protocols are being taken? Is Dad being allowed in the delivery room when mom gives birth? I’m so scared that I’m gonna have to deliver my baby with out my husband in the room and this is our first baby.

She's not saying anything yet but last I heard, hospital policy is still one support person during labor and it's *strongly recommended they stay and not come and go. Mothers all tested for the virus, unclear if the support person is too. It's recommended if the mother is post the baby go to the nursery but there are precautions available if the mother wants to keep the baby in the room.
December is so far away, it would really be more beneficial to ask your facility about policies closer to the day of. Who knows what will change.

I'm in NY, an hour outside of NYC. My hospital right now is saying one medically cleared person allowed in the delivery room/ through the stay and they're not allowing any other visitors. It also looks like the stays are shorter if the hospital doesn't need to keep you. It definitely stinks not to be able to have some family come visit right away, but I'm also kind of looking forward to having an official rule blocking some other not-so-welcome family members 😆 Anything can change between now and then though.

Mine is the same as beths, but I know if I test positive the baby will not be allowed to stay in the room and my support person will be tested as well. I’d only be allowed to see the baby for feedings after getting a fresh mask and the nurse ensuring I washed my hands thoroughly. ￼
