Trying to conceive

Hey y’all! So me and my fiancé have been trying to conceive a baby for a few months now I have been off birth control (Depo Shot) for a year and half and I’m still not getting pregnant, Any tips or suggestions or anything to help me understand why ? I know after birth control it can take a while to get pregnant but I feel it’s taking a lot longer.
