i’m thinking about switching from birth control pills to the implant. i’m great at taking my pills, never even missed by a minute, but I still get nervous about pregnancy. I would like something that is more effective so I don’t worry as much.

I just want to know if it would be worth it. would it be much more effective? I also am terrified of needles and the thought of something going inside my skin makes me want to vomit lol. I’m pretty sure I would pass out or something if i got it done lol but I’ll do it for the protection. so if it wouldn’t really protect me much more considering I take my pills perfectly - should I even do it? or would it protect me more?

also, people who have the implant, what’s your experience with it? I don’t want to gain weight...
