So I asked my boyfriend to go to these sand dunes with me. The one dunes are like 4 hours away and the other ones are 3 hours away. I’ve done day trips to the 3 hour one. It wasn’t a big deal. Sure the ride was a little boring but to me it’s not a super far drive and if you leave earlier you have plenty of time to climb them a few times and get back before it’s super late. I’ve also done day trips to Indiana to see family which is like 3 and a half hours. So to me it’s nothing. Not to mention I’m willing to drive and pay the fee to get into the park. And he’s like “no that’s too far of a drive” like won’t even think about it. :/ I want to do more adventures with him but he’s not willing to do anything that you have to drive a bit for
