Good age for family photos?

What age were your kiddos when you got professional family photos? Our kiddos are almost 3y and 5m. Thinking next year Kate spring/ early summer maybe for some nice professional family photos? They'll be 15m and 3.5

I did newborns and a family pic and then we do a mini session every year usually fall or Christmas pics, regardless of their age

Any age is a good age. We do ours once or twice a year

A good photographer will be able to get good shots regardless of age (unless your kid just cries the whole time). A professional will be used to working with kids of all ages.
