So one of my best friends from elementary school is a nurse that has been pulled to working in a COVID unit because they are short staffed at her hospital. I was talking to her tonight and felt really awful about how stressed and worried she is about everything and how burned out she is already just from this pandemic.

That being said, I really want to send her a care package to cheer her up and hopefully help her through some of her stressful shifts. Problem is I don’t know what to send, so I’m hoping some veteran nurses can comment with some must haves, useful items, etc. that would be beneficial on or off shift.
