Troubles with entire reproductive organs

Hello ladies,

I had my son last year. I had a few normal periods, then they were very not normal (very heavy, debilitating and painful) and ovulation started getting painful as well. I went to the OBGYN and was sent out to have an ultrasound and there a mass almost the same size as my ovary, and on the other ovary was multiple follicular cysts. As well as fluids at the bottom of my uterus and top of my cervix. From what I understand the follicular cysts are from my body not releasing the eggs. My little sister just had her first IVF baby and has PCOS so that’s always something I’m worried about.

I’ve had 3 kids, why now am I having issues? Will I be able to have another at some point? I don’t understand what’s going on with my body..
