What’s the likelihood her eyes will stay blue ? She’s 3 months old and they are this shade ?

My husband and I both have brown eyes but both of our dads, grandfathers, and my sisters have blue eyes; and a lot of my aunts and uncles have green eyes. But his entire family besides his dad and grandpa have brown eyes 😅

They look pretty blue, I’d think they’ll stay blue but the shade may change. 
It’s usually pretty obvious when the blue will turn brown because they’ll have some brown in with the blue around the outside. Like a previous poster, we knew my girls were going to stay blue pretty young with how blue they were, just not sure if they’ll change shades - she’s 7 months

People say things like eye color changes for a year etc. yes 100% it can! But my pediatrician said it is most common to set its color by three months, and the shade of said color by 6 months. So yes they can change but the likelihood is not the same a year from birth as it is a month from birth! My husband and I have brown eyes with similar family genetics. Our baby girl has blue. Pediatrician looked at them at her first appointment when she was a week old and said “yep those are staying blue” don’t know how she knew but she’s 9 months now with blues that are here to stay! 
Also I learned if you or your husband didn’t have blue eyes at birth then it’s more likely hers will stay that color.

I think it can vary but I’ve been told around 3-6 months is when they become their permanent eye colour. I’ve also found this chart interesting in the likelihood of baby eye colour based off parent eye colour.

All of my kids have had their eyes change around 2 years from a beautiful rich blue to my hazel. 😆 Pediatrician said they looked like they’d stay blue and I told her probably not. 😂 my youngest is nearing her 18 month mark so maybe! 🤞😁🤞

My best friend’s son has bright blue eyes. His grandmothers both have strikingly blue eyes, while his mom and dad have brown eyes. They can still change at your son’s age, but I seriously doubt it.

My daughter has blue eyes and looking back at 3 month old pics, you couldn’t really tell they were blue until around 4-5 months. My ex had blue eyes until he was 6 years old and woke up with hazel eyes. I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see pictures! I guess you never really know!

My son had dark dark blue eyes they turned brown. It suits him although I would have liked if they had stayed blue, so he would have something from me instead of being a carbon copy of his dad lol! Hers seem like a lighter blue so maybe that means they will stay blue!
