Make up for acne prone skin??

So I have had acne for a while and currently this is the clearest my face has ever been. It still currently annoys me especially the craters in my skin that won’t fade. I been thinking of trying foundation but every foundation I’ve tried thus far never fully covers my acne scars. Any tips? Best foundation?

If you want something that’ll cover anything (yes I mean anything) Kay Von D’s tattoo foundation is an option but it’s super heavy. If you’re looking for high coverage stay away from powder because it’s not going to do anything for you. It’s harder to cover texture and if you have really deep scars it’s possible that you might not be able to ever cover them fully. 
Stick foundation (like from Bobbi Brown, Hourglass and YSL) is usually higher coverage than powder and liquid so maybe look into those. Sephora will give you samples if you go in so you can test out each formula. I have yet to find a good high coverage drugstore foundation so idk your budget but all the ones I mentioned are $40 and up. Good luck girl!
