iui with endometriosis (1st time)

Hello ladies,

I just wanted to know about anyone’s iui’s experience and results! The good and the bad! This is going to be my first time ever doing this and I’ve been trying to conceive for over a year.

My story:

I’m 26 and my significant other is 28. I’ve had a saline test done, HSG exam done, sperm analysis and bloodwork. I had a laparoscopy done back in 2018 and found out I had stage one endometriosis while removing an ovarian cyst.

Both my tubes and ovaries are really good, my significant others sperm is good as well. I just had an abnormal tissue in my uterine lining from the saline test which got recently removed.

My period was from June 28th - July 4th. They had me start ob birth control on day 4 of my period up to the day before my procedure which they scheduled me to have a hysteroscopy procedure done to remove some polyps on the 7th and they had me start on clomid for 6 days.

Went in on Tuesday but my follicles weren’t mature enough just yet so I’m going in tomorrow morning again to see any more mature follicles / trigger shot and possibly doing my iui this Saturday! Wish me good luck because I’m a nervous wreck 😭😬
