Finally got an appointment!!

So almost two months ago I had a load of bloods done as I’ve had 3 miscarriages/chemicals this year already. Bloods came back okay apart from one which my dr sent off to get a second opinion. She phoned me back a day or so later telling me I’d need to go to haematology and that the appointment should be in 6 weeks time (id receive a letter in the post).

I never got a letter, so I kept phoning the drs to be told I’d have to ring the hospital and chase it myself. So I did, I left voicemails, no one got back to me for two weeks. Doing all this chasing made me feel so low about it all again!

Yesterday I phoned the drs and told them I’ve been having a hard time trying to get through to the hospital and if they could do anything. She phoned and sent them an email and told me she would chase also (I know hospitals are very busy atm and trust me I’m not looking forward to going but I want to find out what’s wrong so that we can start TTC again).

Well she phoned me back this morning to tell me I’ve got an appointment for September!! Turns out they were sending my letter to my old address even though I moved two years ago🤦🏼‍♀️

But anyway I’m so happy!! I feel on cloud nine knowing that hopefully I shall get an answer soon🥰

I also just got told by my job that I’ll be getting a pay rise. What a good day!!🎉
