Families with multiple big dogs?

Question

Hello! I was just curious how families with multiple medium to large dogs handle it with a baby/young kids? We currently have 1 boxer and would like to adopt another one but I’d like to hear other people’s experience with it. Our baby is 3 months old.

Have you ever had two big dogs at once?   Even before having a baby, I knew shortly after adopting our second dog that I would not ever have more than one dog again.  I love them both and will fulfill the promise I made when adopting them that I'd keep them the rest of their lives but no.  Never again.  
One is an older pit who we got years before we were ready to have kids and she just likes to keep to herself.   She has never been aggressive to our daughter but I'm not willing to risk anything.  
Our other dog is GIANT.  He's 115-ish pounds.   He loves our daughter so much but he's just too clumsy and has knocked her down several times.  
For the most part, I keep the kitchen gated off and that's their inside space while my daughter is awake.   From there, they have access to their food and water, the basement, and the doggie door so they can go potty and play outside if they want.   I give them pats whenever I go into the kitchen, and after my daughter goes to bed they come hang out with us in the living room.   
But no, I wouldn't do it again.   Such a hassle.

We have a pit bull and a mastiff, but I don’t think now is a good time for you to adopt a new dog. Maybe if it was young but I would not bring an adult dog into a house with a 3 month old.

We have 4 dogs!! We got 2 Boston terriers when I was 29 weeks pregnant and then we just got a German Shepherd and a Lab and I’m 15 weeks pregnant with a new baby!! ￼￼
I personally have no issue with it and if you and your family thank you can handle it I say go for it. 
I really have no issue with it they mind their business they play outside come in and eat lay around play outside some more. 
The dogs scheduled is with our schedule. We all get up at the same time they go out to the bathroom I help the kids with whatever they need, then I make the kids food and feed the dogs then they play around out, around 2 ish they come in lay around for the afternoon and around 7ish 8 they got back outside to play before bed! 
Of course everyday isn’t like this and the winter different but trying to keep them on a schedule works for us!!
I’m also a stay at home mom though (which to some really matters bc you wouldn’t have that schedule if the family is to cook) some I am there anytime in between if they have to go out and stuff like that.
The only issue we really have now is they all stand with me when I cook plus my little one in her walker it becomes a little much lol!! And since she has gotten big enough to walk in her walker ,sometimes the German Shepherd will take her snacks lol￼!! She loves them though!! She gets so excited when they come over and say hey to her!! 
It is a lot of work though so be ready!!
