How was your natural birth?

I'm talking about a natural, no interventions, un-medicated delivery. 
I live in a country where almost everybody opts for having a natural experience with a midwife in a birth center. Where you get to be more in control, move around, stand up and walk whenever you feel like you need to, go for a water birth or use water pools to ease the contractions whenever you want, and the midwife visit you regularly in your home to check on you and the baby afterwards. 
I'm not judging anyone who decides to go for hospitals or cesarean. Its your body. 
I'm currently pregnant and I'm considering going through this more naturally. No epidurals or the stress of being in a hospital. My midwife is encouraging me to do so ( as she can come with me to a hospital or a birthing centre) 
So for those who experienced natural birth, how was your experience? Did you feel more in control ? Do you regret it ? Would you want to do it again ?

I chose to birth naturally for many reasons, and plan to have a natural birth for my next one too. I had a really quick labor, and I liked being able to move to what was most comfortable for me. I had major back labor and my body wouldn’t let me move out of a hands and knees position. I had two very minor “skid mark” tears, and I believe that it would have been much worse had I been on my back. For this next one, I would like to have the option of laboring and possibly birthing in water. I did most of my labor with my first at home and was only at the hospital an hour before baby came. It was so empowering allowing my body to do what it was meant to do, and knowing that I could do something so hard and painful.

I experienced a natural birth against my will because of the type of labour I had. I would never go through that again on purpose and will most definitely opt for pain relief. I would imagine that if you were in the right mindset to labour and give birth naturally you could be more prepared to handle the pain and get through it with other pain management techniques. Do your research and have an open mind because you just never know what kind of labour you'll have.

I've had 2 all natural home births. The lidocaine didn't even with for the stitches, so I felt everything both times. It certainly wasn't comfortable, but when we have another child I plan to do the same. There's a high chance the epidural wouldn't take for me, anyway, but I can't imagine not being able to feel it. I've never had to be told when to push. Now that I know my body knows what it's doing, I wouldn't want to suppress that unless there was a medical emergency

With my first I did go to a hospital but I was not medicated at all and was up and about until it was time to push I say that went more smoothly for me than my second but I feel like with my second birth I felt as if the contractions were wayyyy more intense so I decided to get epidural which I also wanted to experience that too lol
