Covid test?

My mom lives in FL. My toddler and I used to see her every three months before the pandemic. Obviously we don’t want to go to FL because their a huge hot spot but we were trying to find a “safe” way for her to come here. We miss her lots!! Other than her quarantining here for two weeks in a hotel room - are there other options? Like can she just get tested when she gets here so we know she’s negative so that we can spend time together?
