Night time feeding?

Question

Is anyone’s littles still getting up for a night feeding? My son goes down at 8 and gets up at 2 for a bottle then back down until 6 for another bottle. The doc said we should start weaning him off that night time bottle but it just seems impossible right now. I havent slept through the night in 6 months lol.

Same here. We haven’t slept through the night in 6 months. Now we are in a sleep regression and wake up every two hours. When not in sleep regression, we go to bed at 7, wake up for a bottle at 11 and then again around 2-3AM for another bottle. I still pump and she does not drink enough ounces during the day, so we can’t quit the night time feedings just yet. A few months back we decided that it’s going to be how it’s going to be and just go with the flow. This mindset made everything easier. Good luck!

Same haven’t slept thru the night I have a constant resting headache all day and have a solid 2.5 servings of caffeine to get thru thr day.   Mine is up at 11:30 1:30 5:30 and I try thr paci but alwaya finally wake up and nurse him at all these times 😳

I tired this and my baby wasn't ready either. What made me give it a try because I seen it on the Birthing Center App. My baby wake up twice to feed but I now have it down to one feeding and he only drinking half. Its impossible right now for me to stop night time feeding

One of my twins sleeps through and the other still has a bottle around 3/4am. You can try night weaning by giving less and less every few days. But I never ever offer a full feeding which is how one of them stopped eating at night. I only have ever given 4 ounces at night so they don’t count on it for calories, yet it still eases the hunger pain enough to sleep. Maybe just try cutting back nursing time/bottle ounces

If you want to maintain 1 feeding still, wean down to 4 oz at 10:30 and continue with 4 oz. This plan recommends these times and says to only feed when baby is asleep, dont wait until they wake up.

Mine was waking anywhere from 1 to 4 times a night so we started weaning. I breastfeed so i decreased his time by 2--3 minutes. For bottles I think you decrease by 2 ounces per bottle per night. I also have scheduled times at 10:30 and 3:30 so I initiate feedings, not baby.

I started by making the middle of the night bottle smaller. Got it down to 2 oz and now I try to settle my baby with a pacifier first and she usually goes back to sleep.
