Long story short we met our first year of college and have been dating 10 months or so, and with the school year coming up we’re trying to make decisions. My parents are very strict but they do like my boyfriend and allow me to stay with him on the weekends. My boyfriend lives a maybe 15-20 min drive from the suburb I live in, and he lives a very short drive from our college (5 minutes) with his divorcee mom and his younger brother (whose in high school) half of the time bc of custody. I’m very close with his family and practically live there now. Do you think at our age, and if I pay rent and help out around the house, it would be wise of me to move in with my boyfriend for this upcoming school year?
