Does anyone else have this problem ?

My baby is 6 months going to 7 he still doesn’t hold his bottle to eat buttttt he holds everything else up to his mouth even lifts a can of coke (he doesn’t drink soda btw! It was closed just using as a example ) but he doesn’t carry his own bottle what can I do to teach him to hold his bottle

Why is it important? You have to sit there while he is feeding anyway so might as well hold it if he doesn't want to 🤷🏻‍♀️

If she can hold the weight, just put her habds aorund her bottle while you hold her and let go. Put it back when he drops it. It'll probably fall the first couple times until it clicks for him to hold it or lose it.

My daughter never held her own bottles. She’s 2.5 now and perfectly fine. Don’t worry about it unless there’s other developmental skills that seem behind.

My son never held his bottles, ever. He was strong enough but he just enjoyed feeding time with me. Not all kids hold it themselves it's so biggie. They probably just enjoy the time with you 😍
