How many times did you test before getting positive?

I swear I'm pregnant, and thought I've waited long enough, but still negative results...do I just have to keep waiting?

Answer

I had like 100 of the cheap strip tests so I started testing at 6dpo which is insanely early. I got my first faint positive at 8dpo with both of my pregnancies. Ideally you shouldn't test before you have missed your period but if you are ttc and tracking your cycle there is no reason why you can't test early. If you have already missed your period and are still getting negative tests it is unlikely that you are pregnant
