How long did you wait until you were seen by a fertility specialist?? 
I’ve had 3 miscarriages in 10 months and just curious how long other women had to wait to get tests done??

My story is a bit different. I can get pregnant easily. I just can’t stay pregnant. I had two early losses and then my daughter who was still born. I lost her because of my uterus. So our only option is surrogacy. But I didn’t find out about my uterus until before I got pregnant with my daughter. Some can carry to full term but not all. So I was the unlucky one. Plus my mental state was not good while pregnant. I suffered with ptsd and other horrible stuff. 
This Saturday will be a year since I gave birth to her. We’re in talks with a potential surrogate. Hoping for the best soon. 
Most couples wait about a year or so after not getting pregnant.

My MD was going to refer me after 1 year of trying (age was also a factor as we are both mid-30s), but after I had my second miscarriage, she referred me for repeated pregnancy loss (would have waited for the 3rd one also if not for my age as well). The only thing they found was chlamydia! Figure my husband and I must have been passing it back and forth to each other for some time and were both asymptomatic... we have both not had any other partners for quite a long time. Whatever the case, we were both treated, got pregnant almost immediately thereafter and now I’m 20 weeks.
