I think part of having a career is moving up. 2-3 years in a position usually suffices before a person seeks advancement so idk y they making you wait so long. Sometimes you have to take the risk... and trust no matter what... you will end up on your feet and be more wiser and experienced than you were before.

The 45 min commute would suck a little, but for double the pay 🤤 I would go. If it’s a small company with still more than like 50 employees I wouldn’t mind at all. Really really small (like most people who work there are related) is more concerning.
