Faint positive 5 weeks after miscarriage?

Is it possible this is a new pregnancy or old hcg?? I was 11 weeks when I miscarried and ended up with a d&c. It’s been 5 weeks since my MC so I assumed all hcg was out of my body. I haven’t had a period so I just thought to take a test since so many women get pregnant immediately after MC. A faint line immediately popped up. I did not have blood work done for my levels. Don’t want to get my hopes up but confused of what’s going on!

So sorry for your loss! My third miscarriage at the time I was around 7 weeks, and I never got my period either. I ended up testing when I was over a week late and I got a pregnant right away on my test. I was in fact pregnant and went on to give birth to a baby girl. It’s crazy how fast it can happen after a miscarriage, in fact your more fertile after a miscarriage or after birth. I’d say your test there is positive!

I was getting faint lines on these until I was 7 weeks after my mc. Have blood tests done to determine if it’s rising/dropping.

I’m sorry for your miscarriage friend. It happened the same way to me too, I also tested but to me it was just the left over hormones since it was a missed misscarriage. Try to keep testing to see if the line keeps getting darker every other day and make an appointment with your doctor. Best of luck, I hope it is 🤞🏽🙏🏽💕

Unfortunately you can’t really tell unless you get a blood test. You could test in a few days & see if it’s darker.
