Hi everyone. Last week my son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It’s been really tough and when we get home from the hospital there is so much to do and to remember every day/hour to be able to manage it.

I am also 11 weeks pregnant, and my brain is mush. Grateful to have some time to prepare before baby comes but I was wondering if anyone else has been through something similar? And how do you manage it all? Thank you

Also please know type one is completely different than type 2, diet won’t help- his body needs insulin to survive.
