Maybe mucus plug??

Question

So I have a few questions .. I’m not really quite sure , what to expect when it comes to loosing a mucus plug.. about 5 days ago or make a little over 5 days ago, I thought maybe I had lost a little bit of it; but not the whole thing.. can that happen? Some people say it should come out bloody but some people say it’s not always like that, just a jelly like type discharge .. what should I be expecting??

I have heard that it regenerates. Try not to worry and talk to your doctor/nurse if it is making you nervous. From what I understand, it needs attention if the mucus plug keeps coming out or you see blood.

Mine came out as a large glob at 37 weeks and I never went into labor, was induced at 40 weeks

Mine came out in bits and chunks, not bloody until the last big glob. Came out over a couple days to a week

Mine came out in pieces throughout a weekend. Mine was never bloody at all and I went into labor 2 weeks later.

Maybe mucus plug??
