So periodically my husband will decide to sleep in our guest bedroom (but when he decides to it will be for a few weeks at a time). He swears he gets better sleep in there, because the room is darker and none of the dogs go in there (sometimes they sleep in the bed with us in our bedroom). I’ve told him I don’t like sleeping apart, but he doesn’t understand why it is a big deal. He reassures me it had nothing to do with not wanting to sleep with me, but that he just rests better in that room.

Of course I don’t want to be selfish and make a big deal of it, but it also kind of hurts my feelings. Am I just over reacting?

Does anyone else sleep in a different room than their significant other?
