My daughter just turned 13 and we’ve been talking about her future. When she’s 18 she wants to get her own place and at 15 she wants to get her own car to practice with. Good goals, but how is she going to pay for it. Since she’s too young to work work, she does have a YouTube Channel and earn some money from it but decided to help. For doing well In school, helping around the house, she can earn 1,500 a month, but only $300 will go into her actual debit. The rest will go into a separate savings so she can start saving up for her new phone or car. The $300 will be used for whatever she wants. I think it’s reasonable but my friend thinks it’s too much for a child
