Irregular period

I stopped taking birth control about 3 years ago, reason being is that it made me sick everytime I took it, I was taking it for around 3 years as well. Well ever since my period has been superr irregular to where I dont know when / if it is going to come. Has anybody had this before? Currently I have not had a period since the end of April (I'm not pregnant btw) anybody have any ideas as to anything to help regulate?
